Passionate about technology and building brands, leading entrepreneur Jitin Bhatia, 43, is the founder & CEO of Explurger — a proudly made in India social media app for global audience. His co-founder in Explurger is none other than Bollywood actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood.
WIth a career spanning over two decades, he has a strong hands on experience in programming, private equity, and business development. His extensive work portfolio includes him serving as the Board Member of the Action Group in the past and President of the CII-India Business Forum (South Africa) for 4 years. He also took up the Honorary Director position on the board of Medi Valley (a NITI Aayog Incubator), helping innovators, scientists, and inventors achieve their dreams.
Back in 1998, when he started his IT career, he wrote the program to help Delhi Police with its FIR system. Later, he also developed applications for the Ministry of Rural Development, the National Crime Records Bureau and many international clients. Later, Jitin entered the private equity market and hedge fund space. He handled mergers, acquisitions, and investments for companies in India, the US, South Africa, and more.
His work has earned him titles such as the inspiring leader, innovative leader and the leaders to look out for by leading media houses in the country.
Now, he is focused on putting India on the global map with other social media platforms through Explurger. This new-age social media app is being touted as the next big thing in the social media space.
