The Ministry of Industry, abbreviated as MIND, is the Ministerial Department whose mission is to propose the formulation, conduct, execute, evaluate and control the Executive's policy in the field of industry and the provision of industrial services.
It is also the responsibility of the Ministry of Industry, among many, to pronounce on the exceptional framework of an industrial activity in a different sector.
In the framework of general country development planning, the ministry is responsible for drawing up industrial development plans.
This Ministerial Department is also responsible for promoting and guaranteeing the quality of industrial products, as well as approving technical regulations concerning product quality, industrial processes and industrial safety.
