Personal Profile
Warren Sachs is a professionally registered engineering graduate who recently completed his MBA with Distinction from the Gordon Institute of Business Science. His research report focused on digital transformation in the SME manufacturing sector in South Africa. Warren was the top student overall in the Post Graduate Diploma in Management in 2020 at the Gordon Institute of Business Sciences (GIBS), and top student in seven modules, most notably Women in Manufacturing and Industrial and Trade Policy.
An experienced manufacturing executive, Warren has worked for more than 25 years across the automotive, technical textile, and medical device manufacturing sectors. He has managed numerous projects both locally and internationally, including the establishment and growth of several small and medium sized manufacturers in South Africa and the establishment of export markets for the products of Beier Group. These markets include the USA, India, China, Europe, and East Africa.
He serves on several company boards including a Not For Profit education institute which trains pre-school teachers at certificate and diploma level. He also serves on the Toyota Wessels Institute of Manufacturing Studies Alumni Board.
