Global Markets Derivative Sales & Structuring & Head Global Markets Corporate Sales, Absa Regional Operations:- Gerald is responsible for delivering bespoke FX hedging solutions to clients; generating innovative trade ideas and structured solutions that assist clients in mitigating risk emanating from their FX exposure. Oversees the global markets corporate sales franchise of 10 African countries. In addition, Gerald also leads the FX derivative new system delivery & role-out for Absa Pan Africa Global Markets.
Gerald has over 10 years experience in investment banking with a career that spans market risk management, cash management and FX sales and structuring. His previous roles at Absa Group include head of market risk for SSA (ex SA) as well as cash and liquidity management.
