Anthony is an Advocate of the High Court of Zambia. He holds the following degrees; Master of Laws Degree (LLM), Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA). He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting.
His interest is Company and Intellectual Property Law.
Anthony was appointed Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Patents and Companies Registration Agency in March 2011.
The mandate of the Agency is to provide for the registration and regulation of Companies, Partnerships and Sole Proprietorship as well as Intellectual Property Rights.
Apart from being CEO, Anthony also serves as a Lecturer for Company Law and Procedure at the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education which is the body responsible for training and administering Bar Examinations for Lawyers in Zambia.
He is also a part-time Lecturer in Company Law at the University of Lusaka.

The Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) is a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry. PACRA (hereinafter also referred to as ‘the Agency’) was established under the Patents and Companies Registration Agency Act No. 15 of 2010 with the principal mandate of providing Business registration and Intellectual Property protection services. The Agency confers Intellectual Property Rights and serves as a legal repository for Business Registration and Intellectual Property information.
The following are the services currently provided by the Agency:
a) Registration of Industrial Designs;
b) Registration of Trade Marks;
c) Granting of Patents;
d) Registration of Copyright and Related Rights;
e) Incorporation of Companies;
f) Registration of Business Names;
g) Registration of Security Interests in Movable Property; and
h) Establishment of Business Regulatory Services Centres.
PACRA has physical presence in all provincial capitals as well as Kitwe and Livingstone and also offers business registration services online at www.pacra.org.zm. In a bid to take services closer to its customers, the Agency also has strategic partnerships with Local Authorities countrywide.
